David Roberts
A logistics professional since 1972, David has spent substantial periods in both the own account and third party sectors, as well as being a long term interim, so can fairly claim to have experience in most aspects of the industry.
After university, and an early career spent in temperature controlled food distribution, David joined the old NFC, subsequently Exel, now DHL, and then became a member of the management team that began TNT Logistics, now Ceva.
David then moved to Fedex to start up the global supply chain management contract with Laura Ashley, and after five years progressed to the role of managing director of Fedex Logistics in Europe and the Middle East.
A desire to move out of the corporate mainstream saw David spend eight years broadening his experience in a range on interim roles, the last of which led him to his current position with Aurora, which he has occupied since September 2006.
